In the world language of intercultural choral music, the mass composition combines Christian creeds and spiritual messages with selected quotations from great 'personalities of peace': Mother Teresa, Archbishop Oscar Romero, Martin Luther King Jr, Rigoberta Menchú, Chief Seattle, Pope John Paul II, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Nelson Mandela. The ETHNO-MASS for Peace can be sung in church services, concerts or at peace events - whether in a specific ethnic sound, in a gospel choir or in traditional classical choral singing. Speech texts freely declaimed to the choral arrangements bring hopeful messages and appeals for peace in quotations. Chord names and rhythmic accompaniment patterns for drums, body percussion and movement stimulate a variety of creative possibilities. For performances as part of a mass celebration, the celebrating congregation can be involved with the 'themes for singing along' (copy template in the appendix). The sheet music edition also includes an informative 'program booklet' in German and English as a copy template. It offers basic explanations of the Mass, the individual choral pieces and the 'Personalities of Peace'.
