Description:
The masses by Heinrich Walder, chairman of the South Tyrolean Association of Church Music (VKM) and long-time Brixen Cathedral conductor, published by Butz-Verlag, have quickly found their way into the repertoire of many church choirs due to their ease of performance and freshness of sound. His latest contribution to this genre is - in keeping with the title - characterized by a special festivity, which is evident both in the musical expression and in the instrumentation. However, starting from the tutti of instruments (BUTZ3093A), this can be flexibly reduced: with strings and organ only, with winds and organ or with organ alone (BUTZ3093B). Convincing melodiousness with a low level of difficulty - a mass as if made for church music practice at large and small "festivals" in the church year!
The mass with German text was composed as a commission for the 150th anniversary of the Catholic Church Music Association of Thurgau (Switzerland).
The score is copy-protected for single copies. This is only omitted if the choral score is purchased at the same time as the orchestral material.
