Description:
Edition: score incl. playback CD.
One year after "Gute Träume haben Flügel" we present our second songbook. It is called like one of the five contributions: "If it weren't for love". We wish you every success in singing and making music. All pieces are presented in four-part and one-part versions. They can therefore be used according to local wishes and possibilities. "If it were not for love": A song freely based on the Pauline "Song of Songs" in 1 Cor 13. Wonderfully suitable for engagements, weddings, blessing services for lovers, marriage anniversaries and beyond. "If it were not for love": a tribute to the most important theme of mankind, love. We contributed the official song for the 2012 Katholikentag in Mannheim, named after the motto: "Daring a new departure". In this booklet you will find not only the monophonic version, but also the four-part version. May the music play its part in bringing about the longed-for awakening! Many choirs dedicate themselves to gospel music. (Our song "Good News" is not only aimed at them. It shows that gospel songs can also be written and sung in German. The melody is lively and powerful and can, for its part, help to give artistic impetus to the awakening mentioned above. The fourth contribution is "Das Gotteskinderlied". Here, too, we hear a wonderful melody that is easy to sing and listen to. The confession is clear: all people are children of God and base their dignity on him. Irish blessings have enjoyed great popularity for years. The fifth song provides a setting of some of these wishes: "The paths you walk". It lends grace and expression to an original piety.
