Description:
Kimer, i klokker is a well-known Danish Christmas carol composed by Henrik Rung (1807–1871). It celebrates the message of Christmas and peace on earth. The song is an integral part of Danish Christmas culture and is also included in the Danish church hymnal. The melody is structured around two 6-measure themes that lead into the conclusion via two 4-measure themes. This form is what makes this song so special! Instead of the Danish lyrics, we offer an easy-to-sing German version that stays true to the original in content. Modern harmonies in both the choral and piano parts are what give our sheet music edition its special charm!
