Continuing our popular series of English-romantic motets in bilingual single editions, another festive hymn from the pen of Percy Fletcher is published. In the ABA' form, a joyful, festive praise frames a lyrical middle section to be sung in unison (solo or semi-chorus), in which thanks are given for creation and its gifts. The work is therefore also suitable for singing during the offertory and at Thanksgiving services. The purely homophonic choral setting presents no difficulties; the organ should be at least two-manual and well scored with basic voices.
