Description:
Anton Bruckner's great Mass in E minor for eight-part choir, wind and brass is a captivating work with its expressive combination of archaic unison, strict counterpoint, and romantic-harmonic wind accompaniment - a challenge which experienced choirs are sure to enjoy. For this edition Klaus Rothaupt has transcribed the wind and brass parts for organ. In the process he has not only created the opportunity to perform the Mass in a reduced scoring, but has also brought a fresh approach and creative interpretation to the work, depending on the organ specification.
The vocal and choral scores from the original version (CV27093-00) can be used for the organ version.
