Description:
The lyrics of this choral composition are based on a personal "prayer of light" by Lorenz Maierhofer’s father. Lorenz Maierhofer writes more about this in his autobiographical book *Der Wildbacher—3/8 Lebensroman zwischen Schilcherwein und nacktem Wasser* (Helbling). "Mein Lichtgebet" is a tribute to a fulfilling life—a moving choral piece.
