Description:
for choir and organ. The work can also be performed by less experienced choirs. Since the melodies are intended to be simple, short, and yet memorable, only part of the relatively long text of the Gloria is set to music. Despite this simplicity, the canonical interplay of the voices and the independently led organ part result in a magnificent, rich sound. Harald Feller was a professor of organ at the Munich University of Music and received several composition awards for his work. He performed the famous organ part in the legendary film *Schlafes Bruder*. Sacri Concentus Ratisbonenses Series — A series of sacred music from the Regensburg College of Catholic Church Music and Music Education "Despite the intended simplicity, the canonical interplay of the four choral voices and the independently led organ part result in a sound that is both festive and rich." MUSIK & LITURGIE (CH), 04/2024 "Even the solo parts can be performed by members of the choir or by a guest choir. Another highly accessible piece from the ‘Sacri Concentus Ratisbonensis’ series, which consistently presents music that is appealing to church musicians!" SINGENDE KIRCHE (AT), 3/2024
