Die Weihnachtslieder-Messe 'Missa carminum' liegt hier in der Fassung für Chor und Orgel vor. Die Besonderheit an dieser Messe ist, dass in jedem Satz des Messordinariums ein bekanntes Weihnachtslied als instrumentaler cantus firmus eingewoben ist. In der Partitur wurde der jeweilige Liedtext an den entsprechenden Stellen aufgenommen, so dass die weihnachtliche 'Erkennungsmelodie' auch vokal, z.B. durch einen einstimmigen Kinderchor, ausgeführt werden kann.
