Following the great success of his "Magnificat", the internationally sought-after pop and jazz choir composer Christoph Schönherr has presented another work for Carus with his MISSA in tempore incerto:
"Missa in tempore incerto - Mass in difficult times"
The composer on the work: "At the beginning of the 21st century, global threats are looming that will challenge humanity in unexpected ways. The music is caught between a plea, a cry for help and hope. For the musical interpretation, I saw the blues and Latin styles in particular as appropriate and contemporary tonal languages."
The instrumental scoring of the mass largely corresponds to that of the "Magnificat", so that the combination of the two works is ideal for the concert situation.
