Although he incorporates the traditional tango, this does not stop him from including a fugue...
The work was commissioned for the 50th anniversary of Carus and received its premiere on 24 June 2022 at the Musikfest ION in Nuremberg.
The orchestral material (only on loan) includes a part for accordion, which can be used as an alternative to the bandoneon.
