Description:
With "Nun bitten wir den heiligen Geist", the renowned publisher Breitkopf & Härtel presents a resonant and profound work of sacred choral music. This expressive arrangement for mixed choir (SATB) creates a reverent, moving atmosphere and is ideally suited for festive church services—particularly Pentecost—as well as ambitious choral concerts. This choral score features a clear, singer-friendly layout that ensures effective and inspiring rehearsal work. The magnificent reference recording by the Rockefeller Chapel Choir of the University of Chicago under the direction of Randi Von Ellefson (released on Arsis CD 115) beautifully demonstrates the emotional power of this piece. An enriching addition to any sophisticated choral repertoire!
