Description:
With "Oculos non vidit", renowned Latvian composer Rihards Dubra has created a deeply moving work for unaccompanied mixed choir. Setting the sacred Latin text, this composition unfolds an enchanting sonic landscape rich in spiritual depth and mystical radiance. The multi-voice scoring (SAAATBB) allows for an extraordinarily opulent harmonic palette, blending ethereal upper voices and warm, resonant male registers into a dense and emotionally stirring choral texture. Dedicated to Prof. Gerhard Jüngst, this masterpiece is published by Musica Baltica as a practical choral score. "Oculos non vidit" is an exceptional choice for sophisticated concert programs, choral competitions, and liturgical celebrations—a captivating centerpiece for ambitious choirs seeking to inspire their audiences with contemporary Baltic choral art.
