Description:
Scripture: Isaiah 9:6
Truly memorable for Advent, this joyful treatment of the familiar Isaiah passage, 'For unto us a Child is born, ' is a new approach to thisScripture. Written in a 'lite'jazz style, the shifting meters of the chorus are easy to learn and add great energy to the impact of the anthem. The flute descants are idiomatic to the instrument and offer a real changeof pace for the Advent season. As much fun to sing as it is to hear, this will be a choir favorite in no time.
