Description:
Anyone who has a preference for festive, powerful, even "majestic" choral music of the Romantic period will sooner or later turn their gaze (also) to England. And in doing so, you can discover the present praise motet accompanied by the organ, which can be described as the prototype of an inspiring repertoire "warhorse": upward-striving, joyful motifs, elegant harmonic structure, ABA form with a middle section designed only by soprano and bass and, above all, a sublime sonority that the singers will celebrate and the listeners will enjoy. A veritable praise to the glory of the Creator and to the joy of the people! With German and English text.
