There Is a Season

The famous passage from Ecclesiastes has been often set and rightly so, and this latest addition to the oeuvre is an auspicious, beautifully crafted anthem of scope. Adding character and musical variety to each scriptural statement, the overall spirit is hopeful and positive, and the organ accompaniment adds greatly to this colorful approach. All vocal parts will find challenge and fulfillment in the interesting textures, and a lofty, forte ending is the perfect crown for this majestic offering.
