Description:
Revised edition of the famous choral songs by the composer of 'Bolero'. This cycle, too, is designed for a great climax. 'Nicolette' describes a simple, almost naïve fairy-tale character. The solos of the middle movement in the style of a sarabande can be performed by members of the choir. The final 'Rondo' is highly virtuoso, with an abundance of allusions to ancient mythological figures.
