wind resonances entstand im Auftrag des Europäischen Kammerchores unter Leitung von Michael Reif für die 2. Kölner Musiknacht 2007 und greift auf Verse aus Ode to the West Wind von Percy B. Shelley zurück. Das Prinzip eines Chores, jede Stimme mehrfach zu besetzen, ist in wind resonances aufgehoben: der Gesamtklang entsteht aleatorisch durch individuelle, fast ausschliesslich asynchrone Aktionen jedes einzelnen Sängers. Das Prinzip der Resonanz bestimmt Form, Aus- und Aufführung der Musik.
