Description:
The single "Zu nah am Feuer" was released in 1984. The song was performed by Stefan Waggershausen & Alice and was a huge hit; however, it didn't do as well on the German charts (peaking at No. 13). Stefan Waggershausen, however, had already been very popular in Germany since the early 1980s, particularly thanks to the songs "Hallo Engel" and "Verzeih’n Sie, Madame." With the latter song, Waggershausen competed in the German national selection for the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest, where he placed fourth.
