Description:
The opera includes a selection of its most famous numbers as well as a part for a narrator, who explains the entire unfolding of the plot. As a result, the audience can enjoy a satisfying presentation lasting approximately one hour. In this way, the wind band can reestablish its cultural function and incline the audience towards a musical genre that often is reserved for lovers or experts of the opera. The opera is arranged for three singers and wind band, but the solo parts can also be performed by solo instrumentalists. A chorus is also an option.
Solo voices: Radames (tenor), Aida (soprano), Amneris (mezzo-soprano). Solo instrumental doublings: Euphonium, Bb Clarinet and Trumpet. Narrator: text available in Italian, English, French and German. Choir: optional SATB choir set (available separately).
reduction for 3 voices, narrator and band (SATB Choir ad libitum, available separately)
