Air Pathétique is the second movement of the Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor Op. 13, or Sonata ' Pathétique ', composed by Beethoven around 1797-98. As a sign that this work inspired him with particular satisfaction, Beethoven dubbed it his 'Great Pathetic Sonata'. If you want to stay as close as possible to the original version, you can choose not to play the percussion part ad libitum of this arrangement by Robert van Beringen.
