Description:
This commissioned work places the flugelhorn at the center of attention. For me, this instrument is the "chameleon" among instruments due to its ability to mix colors. On the basis of the flugelhorn, a constantly "growing" orchestra is created for the audience's ear and at the same time a play of colors that is created by mixing with other instrument groups. If successful, this work makes the flugelhorn shine "golden". At the end - just in case ;) - the composition leads into a furious final section. Cheers.
