Description:
The Grand Duchy of Baden was a sovereign state from 1806 to 1871. The Badnerlied, Baden's unofficial anthem, was composed around 1865 and the Grand Duke Friedrich von Baden was a frequent guest in the spa town of Badenweiler. The Badner Galopp captures all this musically, as it is the lively finale from the great work "Diana Abnoba", which was premiered on the occasion of the 1950th anniversary of the town. The ideal encore title - not only for orchestras from Badnerland.
