Description:
A lively Bohemian polka from the repertoire of the Ostallgäu band Waidigel. "Schachtelwirt" is a term commonly used in the Allgäu region to refer to McDonald’s and similar restaurants that traditionally serve their food in boxes. A musical tribute to the tradition that, on trips to or from the band’s performances, often only the "Schachtelwirt" is still open! A lovely piece for your folk repertoire that’s easy to play even with a small ensemble!
In addition to a detailed full score, the complete edition also includes a compact conductor’s score in C! Contents of the "Small Ensemble" edition (1 copy each): Conductor’s score in C – Flute in C – Clarinet Eb – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd clarinets in Bb – 1st and 2nd flugelhorns Bb – 1st Trumpet in Bb – 1st Tenor Horn in Bb – Baritone Horn in C+Bb – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trombones in C+Bb – 1st Tuba in C+Bb – 2nd Tuba in C+Eb – Percussion
