Description:
Carnival is an exciting and accessible piece for very young musicians, exploring the first six notes of the Bb major scale. The melody, first introduced by the clarinets, is simple and singable, allowing each instrument in the band a chance to play it. The piece encourages students to maintain a lively tempo and ensures that the melody always remains in focus. Dedicated to Kristen Bielki, an outstanding music educator, Carnival is an excellent choice for concert or festival performances, offering a fun and engaging experience for beginner bands.
