This arrangement was created during the Corona lockdown 2020 for the "Landesjugendblasorchester Steiermark". Due to the cancellation of the traditional New Year's concert on January 6 in the Stefaniensaal in Graz, New Year's greetings were sent to our loyal audience via video - initiated, recorded, filmed and edited by members of the orchestra themselves. In the arrangement, the original key was deliberately retained and not transposed into one of the usual "wind orchestra keys". In this case, a slimmer brass section is intended to better emphasize the character of the piece.
