Description:
The French composer Ambroise Thomas composed his Opera Hamlet in 1868. The Choeur des Comediens et Chanson Bachique is a part of the second act: Hamlet, son of the Danish King, has invited a group of comedians to the castle Elseneur to perform a play. As a gesture of gratitude he welcomes them with a drinking party. (Baritone, Male Choir and Concert Band)
