The Italian composer Alberto Pestalozza (1851-1934) composed many operettas and songs. With the title 'Ciribiribin', which he composed in 1898, he created a world success, which was interpreted by countless artists and orchestras.
One of the most beautiful interpretations is certainly that, the German trumpet legend 'Horst Fischer', which he performed together with the Hugo Strasser Band on German television in 1977.
Hans Derks arranges this version very impressively for modern set wind orchestra. A grateful, but also feasible challenge for their solo trumpet player!
