Description:
A piece conceived to highlight the voice of the flute through its dialogue with the band. The classic three-movement journey - Allegro, Andante, Allegro - gives the soloist the chance to express their technical and musical abilities.
After those for saxophone, trombone (or euphonium) and trumpet, Pusceddu wrote the Concertino for Flute; as with the previous ones, this is also a work of medium difficulty for the concert band, while the solo part requires a good technical level. The composition is structured in the classic form Allegro-Andante-Allegro. The piece is dedicated to the flutist Stefania Cinus, a friend and collaborator of the composer.
