Joy and optimism characterize this short and carefree composition, whose structure refers to the classic ALLEGRO - ANDANTE - ALLEGRO model. The thematic material is proposed and combined with naturalness and fluidity, through an accurate orchestration that highlights the tonal resources of the various instrumental sections and with some fun effects entrusted to percussion. In the coda the expressive theme of the andante reappears, within a sort of happy final gallop that closes this brilliant work by Lorenzo Pusceddu.Commissioned by the 'Filarmonica Giacomo Puccini 1822' of Viggiù on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of its foundation.
