This 6/8 march by the Feststadelmusikanten is bursting with energy and enthusiasm. The striking intro is followed by a lively melody that leads into an energetic bass solo. The final section features a beautiful interplay between flugelhorn and tenor horn. Maximilian Stegmaier first had the idea for the march when he was in pain with his wisdom tooth. Hence the name "Dens sapiens" - which means "wisdom tooth" in Latin.
