Description:
Through all weathers! was a composition commissioned by the Musikkapelle Wangen for its 225th anniversary. It is essentially divided into three parts. In the first, I describe the anniversary itself, with a lively, lively theme. As the concert was one of the first to be possible again after the Corona-related break, the motif is reminiscent of a bird being released from its cage after a long time. In the middle section, the ecclesiastical aspect of the band is emphasized. A kind of ecclesiastical aria is introduced by a flugelhorn solo. The third lively section describes the legendary "Bartlmä Festival", which is traditionally held by the band, until all the themes are taken up again in the final section.
