These editions for (children's) choir and wind orchestra are not only intended to recall the traditional songs of the German-speaking world, but are also ideal for cooperation between music clubs, choirs, elementary school and kindergartens. In addition to the unique orchestral experience that can be offered to the young and young-at-heart singers, this concept also includes an "unobtrusive" introduction to instruments: The children discover the variety of instruments that can be used in a wind orchestra all by themselves during the joint rehearsal.
Instrumentation: Care was taken to ensure that the arrangement remains playable even with a very reduced instrumentation (11 / 12 parts). The flugelhorn is deliberately not omitted.
As a supplement to this edition, there is a 4-part movement + piano which can be flexibly arranged. This is compatible with the orchestral arrangement, so the vocal solo part can also be played by an instrumental trio/quartet. Different instrumental registers can also appear as soloists (accompanied by the wind orchestra).
