During his many workshops as a teacher of concertante and Bohemian/Moravian brass music, this title by Freek Mestrini was an integral part of the program. The 3 dances are started very slowly and leisurely, partly soloistically, and then gradually taken over by the orchestra, becoming faster and faster, before reaching the finale.
