Elephant And Midge Op. 520

Experience a true classic of musical humor with "Elefant und Mücke op. 520" (The Elephant and the Mosquito)! This charming, comical intermezzo brings to life the delightful interplay between two unlikely partners: the agile, virtuosic piccolo as the buzzing mosquito and the deep, resonant trombone as the good-natured, ponderous elephant. This beloved feature piece provides the perfect opportunity to showcase two soloists from your wind band with brilliance and a twinkle in the eye. Thanks to flexible solo instrumentations (such as trumpet/cornet or bassoon, euphonium, and cello), the piece can be adapted to various combinations. Published by Oertel Musikverlag, this edition includes the complete set of parts for concert band with saxophone parts. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser and the ideal showstopper for your concert program!
