This beautiful work recreates the sound of a piano with the sustain pedal down. Slow moving harmonies seem to meld together as the lyrical lines soar. The plaintive sounds of the opening give way to a warm brass chorale. Eventually, the entire ensemble joins together in an emotional and glorious declaration.
