A passion for music in general—and for brass music or a brass band in particular—is not uncommon. It’s also not uncommon for this very passion to be instilled by parents from birth. This is certainly the case for Markus Mistelbauer from Allhartsberg in Lower Austria. He is an enthusiastic musician and bandleader and thus plays a key role in passing on the passion for brass music.
This led to the creation of a multifaceted polka, composed by Manfred Hirtenlehner, which is peppered with little surprises across all the registers.
