On the occasion of the 2023 Frejus-Triberg friendship anniversary.
As we all know, music knows no borders—unfortunately, the same cannot be said for politics. This makes it all the more gratifying that so many cities maintain partnerships. Gottfried Hummel composed this concert march to mark the 60th anniversary of the partnership between Triberg in the Black Forest and Fréjus in southern France. The title of the work, "Friends Through Music," makes a clear statement: Music knows no boundaries and unites people in all their diversity.
