This piece sees the author leafing through the pages of memories and employing music as the vehicle to describe some of those moments. In particular, he tells of his adolescence, with its alternating periods of joyful serenity and vigorous rebellion. The composition uses a light rhythmic language; taking full advantage of both beat and rock rhythms, whilst leaving room in the central section for a soulful ballade.
