Description:
The March of His Majesty the King’s Guard Band is the Battalion March of His Majesty the King's Guard.
It is used during the King's inspection, Guard formations, and at the Changing of the Guard at the Royal Palace. The march has traditionally been the entrance march for drill performances, almost always performed at the concerts of the King's Guard Band, and during parades.
The march begins with the battalion signal of His Majesty the King's Guard.
Ole Hvam composed the march, Rolf Nøddelund arranged the present version (1976), and Eldar Nilsen re-arranged it and added bugle parts (2007).
