Description:
This musical portrait of the beautiful Colorado River canyon in Utah/Arizona features majestic opening and closing themes with a more lyrical interlude between. Simple countermelodies add harmonic depth, moderate tempos keep technical demands reasonable, and well-placed rests help developing brass players avoid endurance problems. An excellent selection for concerts and contests! Duration 3:50.
