With "Gloggnitz erblüht," Austrian composer and arranger Gottfried Kaghofer created a charming waltz that captivates with its playful simplicity and warm charm. As a former brass band musician, it was particularly important to him to write a piece that is easy to perform and at the same time touches the audience immediately. Inspired by Ernst Mosch’s classic "Rauschende Birken," the waltz unfolds a clear, catchy musical language. A special highlight is the tenor solo, which Kaghofer dedicated to two musician friends: here, the voices are allowed to "bloom," complementing one another and blending into a harmonious, cohesive whole. "Gloggnitz Erblüht" is a cheerful, heartfelt waltz—down-to-earth, melodic, and carried by genuine musical friendship.
