Description:
Hero, commissioned by the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Digoin, expresses the concept of the hero in its broadest sense. The composition opens with a majestic introduction in which the rhythmic figure, performed by the brass, gradually fades and gives way to a livelier Allegro. A new theme unfolds through the skilful use of different tempos, keys and timbres, culminating in a bombastic finale at the end of the composition.
