Description:
In The Dancehall of The Mountain King was commissioned by The Royal Norwegian Air Force band for the opening concert of Norwegian Military Tattoo 2025, which the arranger also conducted. It is a counterfactual experiment, which tries to describe how Edvard Grieg would have written his well-known piece if he had heard Cuban Chá Chá Chá and Salsa music.
