Gottfried Hummel

Junior & Senior

Fortunately, it’s not uncommon for family members spanning several generations to share the stage. In this piece, they now have the opportunity to step into the spotlight as soloists. The focus here isn’t on a virtuoso competition, but on harmonious collaboration. The solo parts can also be cast in different and varied ways. The whole performance becomes even more effective when supported by continuous singing.

The lyrics are:
Junior and Senior
Sing you a serenade,
Just as the old ones used to sing,
The young ones chirp as well

Friendly, sweet and kind
Both play in a duet
The most beautiful harmonies.
Double the charm
