Pfiat Gott beinanda. After more than 33 years, Sepp Forcher bid farewell to his audience with the 200th episode of the television program "Klingendes Österreich". In the program, he presented musical traditions, scenic beauty of Austrian and border regions and authentic folk music, garnished with completely unagitated commentary. He made more than 3,000 visits to Austria, South Tyrol and Bavaria and can boast 11,000 broadcast minutes with 2,000 music groups.
Siegmund Andraschek composed the Sepp Forcher March on behalf of the Austrian Brass Band Association. Sepp Forcher was thus honored for his energetic efforts and commitment to the customs and traditions of Austrian brass music.
