Pekin, 1898. A young occidental tries to follow an unknown young girl whom he has seen in a crowd. His quest brings him to the doors of the mysterious Forbidden City. Will the doors open for him? It is left to your imagination to complete the story. This original composition by a self-taught French composer is in five separate movements: -Remparts dans la brume (Ramparts in the fog). -Les rues de Pekin (The streets of Pekin). -Egarement (Wandering). -Sur les traces d'une ombre (In the traces of a shadow). -Palais de lumiere (Palace of light).
