Description:
1. spiritualism The first movement begins with mysterious chords, ethereal tones reminiscent of the first excursions into spiritualism. The atmosphere is strange and unreal and reflects the intangible presence of the Horlas. Dissonant motifs and a ghostly voice seem to call through the wind, conveying the eeriness of Guy de Maupassant's story Le Horla. 2. evil This movement plunges into a dark intensity conveyed by heavy basses and fierce percussion. The almost wild harmonies and hasty arpeggios conjure up the rise of evil and inner terror. Every note seems to be a cry of despair, reflecting the protagonist's descent into madness. 3. view from above The last movement, airy and flowing, offers a detached, almost transcendent perspective. The music, light and distorted, symbolizes a higher view of suffering and the silent reign of Horlas, who is omnipresent but invisible. This music, created for Henigma, a Swiss company for culture and entertainment, illustrates a role-playing game inspired by Le Horla. Through mystical and dark themes, it explores the boundaries between the real and the invisible and conveys the unique atmosphere of Maupassant's work.
