Description:
'Carmen' is probably the most famous opera in the whole opera-repertoire, although its premiere in 1875 was a great disappointment. The aria 'Les tringles des sistres tintaient'is sung in 2nd act of the opera: With her friends Frasquita and Mercedes, Carmen sings a wild gyspy song about dancing and seduction to the joyous tavern crowd.
