Description:
Little Concerto is a most useful solo item due to the fact that the key and the range of the solo part mean it can be performed by several different instruments, from flute to baritone. Little Concerto consists of three movements: an Allegro written in classical style, which alternates between tutti and soli passages; a second movement, sweet and calm, to fully display the richness of the solo instrument's sound colours and finally an Allegro giocoso. It is a fairly simple piece and is therefore particularly suitable for young or inexperienced soloists who want to display their artistic skills.
